Aussie actress Toni Colette has shaved her long, blonde hair for a role in upcoming drama film Miss You Already, co-starring Drew Barrymore.

The pair play best friends who are faced with the challenge of Colette's character being diagnosed with breast cancer.

The film promises to be a tear jerker and is set to be released mid next year.
