Want a first-hand view of the future of the Monarchy at home? This could be your chance, as apparently William and Kate are looking for a housekeeper.

The Daily Telegraph states the couple have advertised the post, based at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

‘Discretion and loyalty is paramount’ a job advert unsurprisingly states.

The advert states: ‘Main duties will include: cleaning all areas of the house to a high standard; caring for and maintaining the home owners’ clothing; cleaning silverware and glassware; purchasing groceries and general provisions for the house; and dealing with deliveries. On occasions, the role will also involve the preparation of meals, assisting with childcare and caring for dogs.’

The Duchess of Cambridge is currently pregnant with her second child, expected next month.

Candidates have until April 5 to dust off their CVs.

The job comes with self-contained accommodation suitable for a couple, and said the housekeeper’s partner could be offered ‘ad hoc maintenance work’.
