Watch: How Kit Harington Used Jon Snow's Fate To Get Out Of A Speeding Ticket

Kit Harington revealed that he kept the fate of Jon Snow a secret from everyone — except his mum, his dad, his girlfriend, and a police officer who pulled him over for speeding.

The Game of Thrones star appeared on the Tonight Show on Friday where he admitted to Jimmy Fallon that he used his character’s big secret to get out of a ticket.

“I was driving to my parents’ house,” he recalled, “and driving too fast and this policeman pulls me over and he said, ‘There’s two ways we can do this: You can either follow me back to the police station and I book you in, or you can tell me whether you live on the next season.’”

So, like anyone looking to get out of a speeding ticket, Harington told the police officer the truth. “I looked at him and said, ‘I’m alive next season,’” he said. “And he says, ‘On you way, Lord Commander. Keep the speed down this far south of the Wall.”
