"I just put everything on the line and I think that was so special about the emotional moment at the end."

It seems like Justin Bieber is an all new man, with new music, and we're liking his changed tone!

The emotional MTV VMAs performance has people talking, and now Justin himself has explained what was going through his head.

“It was just so overwhelming for me- everything,” he told the late night host.

“Just the performance, I missed some cues so I was a little disappointed at that, and just everyone and their support. Honestly, I just wasn’t expecting them to support me in the way that they did. The last time I was at an awards show, I was booed."

“I worked so hard at this album … at becoming the man I want to become and stepping into that situation, you just can’t help but feel judged,” he continued. “I wanted to win so badly, I just put everything on the line. It was authentic and real… I was just wanting it so bad.” 

Jimmy couldn't help but lighten the mood by joking, "Plus your junk was being pulled by the harness. That can't help the situation!"

It was also announced this morning that Justin is headed to Australia in September!
