Why Ellen DeGeneres was denied entry into the White House

Ellen DeGeneres ventured to the White House to receive an award but ran into some trouble when she wasn’t allowed in.
The talk show host was set to be awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom, but the star forgot her I.D. and so she was denied entry.

Luckily Ellen was eventually given the all clear and was about to get inside the White House. To commemorate the event she got all 21 of the award recipients - including Robert De Niro, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Hanks - to take part in the freeze for a mannequin challenge. Check out the video here:
