X Factor's Ratings Fail To Increase Despite Controversies

Despite a number of recent controversies including a contestant being revealed as a convicted murderer, judge Willy Moon calling a woman a c*** in a carpark and now Natalia Kills'Â attack on a contestant's appearance, The X Factor NZ is struggling to pull the ratings.
For the third consecutive week, the Sunday night average audience has only just scraped past the 250,000 mark.
Meanwhile, TV One’s home renovation show Our First Home has had it’s third consecutive week of Sunday night rises with last night’s average audience the second highest Sunday night episode since the show debuted last month.
