Zayn Malik Admits He Only Speaks to One of His Former One Direction Band Mates

It’s been exactly a year since Zayn Malik left One Direction, breaking the hearts of everyone everywhere.

In a recent interview with NME, Malik admitted that he is only still in contact with Liam Payne. “I’m still probably the closest to Liam...We talk on the phone. He congratulated me on my single, which was nice. I congratulated him on his Brit Award . It was a good chat. We haven’t met up in a long time so we want to meet up.”

So what about Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson? Malik said he tried, but they didn’t respond. “I tried to have contact but nobody’s reached out. So… whatever."
