Adele sparks engagement rumours as she wins big at the 2022 BRIT Awards

Superstar singer Adele not only won big at the 2022 BRIT Awards but she's also sparked rumours that she is engaged.

The 33-year-old star looked absolutely stunning as she took to the music award's red carpet wearing what appeared to be a large pear-shaped diamond engagement ring from her boyfriend Rich Paul.

Adele and the 40-year-old US sports agent have been romantically linked since early 2021. 

Meanwhile, Adele beat out the likes of Ed Sheeran to take home the BRIT for Artist of the Year and gave an emotional speech thanking both her son and her ex-husband. 

"I'd like to dedicate this award to my son, and to Simon, to his dad. My son has been so patient and so gracious," Adele gushed.

Along with giving a stunning performance of I Drink Wine and winning Album of the Year for her album 30, Adele also collected the Best Song award for her hit Easy On Me.

As she made her way onto the stage, the 33-year old star – who has relocated to the US since her last appearance at the ceremony – thanked fans and spoke of how much she "loved" coming home for the awards ceremony.

She said: "Thank you so much. I didn’t realise there were that many songs in that category that were ballads.  But it’s always a pleasure, I always love coming here and coming home, right from the back of my career way back when I was a little foetus!"
