Back working from home? Try out this simple DIY iced coffee recipe

With many of us back to working from our home offices under Red Light settings, our favourite cafes may no longer be on our doorstep to get our quick, delicious and easy caffeine fix. What’s more, our favourite make-at-home coffees may no longer be hitting the mark in this summer heat.

If you’re lacking inspiration for your 3pm pick-me-up, why not try out one of these easy-to-make Iced Coffee recipes? From something simple to something a little more elevated, there’s something refreshing for everyone wherever you are this summer!

TO ENJOY AT HOME: COCONUT FLAVOUR OVER ICE

Experience the tastes of summer with hints of coconut and vanilla, to upgrade your iced coffee moment at home.

Ingredients 

  • 1 x capsule of Nespresso Coconut Flavour over Ice, extracted as 40ml espresso
  • 90g or 3 ice cubes
  • 90ml milk of your choice, or chilled water

Method

  1. Add ice into a clear coffee glass
  2. Extract one capsule of Nespresso Coconut Flavour over Ice directly into glass
  3. Top with your choice of either milk or water
  4. Stir to combine, and enjoy!

NESPRESSO MARTINI FOR TWO

Double the fun and make this summer classic for two. The perfect Espresso Martini for moments shared with friends.

Ingredients

  • 2x capsules of Nespresso Freddo Intenso, extracted 40ml espresso each
  • 60ml Coffee Liqueur
  • 120ml Vodka
  • 20ml Sugar Cane Syrup or Maple Syrup
  • 240g or 8 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp toasted Coconut Flakes

Method

  1. Add ice into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add coffee liqueur, vodka, and syrup
  3. Extract one capsule of Nespresso Freddo Intenso directly into shaker
  4. Place lid on shaker and shake 20-30 seconds or until ice forms on outside of shaker
  5. Strain between two martini glasses and garnish with toasted coconut flakes
