Cat Dies After Owner Died It's Fur Pink

Author, Elena Lenina, is in trouble with animal rights activists after her cat was poisoned and died from toxic hair dye. 

Elena attended a 'pretty in pink' event and brought her cat along for the occasion, which she had dyed bright pink.

People at the event said that the cat appeared very distressed all night and was constantly trying to escape Elena's hands. 

The cat licked it's pink fur repeatedly after the event, which led to it ingesting the toxic dye substance leading it's death. 

Now there is an online petition with thousands of signatures demanding to have the local police investigate the animal cruelty charges.
