Charlie Puth and wife welcome their first child and the photos are adorable

Charlie Puth has become a dad for the first time.

The 34-year-old singer and his wife, Brooke Sansone, welcomed son Jude into the world on March 13, and they announced the joyous news on Instagram with a joint post.

Charlie and Brooke shared a series of photos of them bonding with their bundle of joy with the caption: "Hey Jude 3.13.26 (sic)."

Fans rushed to the post's comments section to congratulate the couple - who got married at his family residence in Montecito, California, in September 2024 after just over two years of dating.

One person penned: "Welcome to the world Jude!!! So precious! Congratulations Charlie and your wife! (sic)"

A second supporter typed: "I am crying over 9000 km away from you, I am so happy for you, you are a beautiful family and Jude is the luckiest baby to have you and Brooke as parents, you are a home. (sic)"

And a third follower wrote: "It's a mini you! Congratulations love u both (sic)."

In October 2025, Charlie and Brooke announced they were expecting their first child, via the debut of the music video for his track Changes.

The clip, shared to Instagram, showed the pair standing on top of a giant red toy piano, and at one point, he placed his hand on his spouse's stomach.

The How Long performer captioned the video: "There’s been some changes… Changes out now. My new album Whatever’s Clever! out March 6."

Also, that month, Charlie shared how he hopes his baby "likes music", joking that it is the one thing he is able to do.

Appearing on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Marvin Gaye hitmaker quipped: "I hope baby likes music, because it's the only thing I'm good at."

And Charlie tried to make his wish come true by singing songs to Brooke's bump.

Last December, the four-time Grammy award nominee told Extra: "I sing Something in the Way She Moves by James Taylor because that's what my mom sang to me."

Charlie then joked that he performs his tracks to get the baby familiar with his "whole discography".

The Attention performer quipped: "And I sing baby, my music because if baby doesn't arrive knowing my whole discography, I'm going to be a sad dad.

"I'm just kidding! Baby can be whatever baby wants to be."
