Everyone loves a good Easter Egg Hunt, but sadly some people miss out every year.

David Hyche's daughter, Rachel, is blind. In previous hunts she'd be guided to egg locations by helpers, but David decided to step the game up with the help of his Alabama Police & bomb squad workmates.

40 volounteers met to construct 40 blind-friendly beeping Easter eggs - constructed with a switch, 9-volt battery, battery clip and a large plastic egg and cost around $12 each to make. When they're found, the plastic eggs are exchanged for delicious edible ones.

The International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators have now funded a charity project so David's invention can be made and enjoyed by thousands of visually impaired children around Easter time.
