Harry Potter fans left disappointed after train hilariously blocks view of Hogwarts Express

Harry Potter fans were left heartbroken after they queued for hours to catch a glimpse of the Hogwarts Express ... only for a commuter train to block their view.

The famous locomotive, which starred in several installments of the world-famous Harry Potter movie franchise, travelled through Drumry train station in Dunbartonshire on its return journey from Carnforth in Lancashire on Monday.

Hundreds of fans had piled into the station to catch a glimpse of the train, but excitement turned into disappointment just as the Hogwarts Express came into sight in the distance, as their view was blocked by the 4.12pm ScotRail train to Dalmuir.

By the time the ScotRail train unblocked the view, fans were only able to see the back of the steam train speeding off into the distance.

Oh, dear!
