Like many other Kiwis around the country, Jacinda Ardern celebrated the fact that New Zealand currently has no confirmed cases of Covid-19 existing.

She revealed yesterday that she even "did a little dance" when she first heard the good news.

"I did a little dance. I showed Neve. She was caught a little by surprise but she joined in - having absolutely no idea why I was dancing around the lounge but enjoying it nonetheless," the Prime Minister said during yesterday’s press conference.

Well now, it seems that dance video has "leaked" online - and well, it is absolutely perfect!

Check it out:

If you don’t recognise the scene, it is, of course, Hugh Grant’s iconic dance scene from the beloved film, Love Actually.

YouTube user GCSBro unveiled their comical creation titled NZ COVID Free!! Jacinda's Dance - Leaked Video today, which sees Jacinda’s head superimposed onto Hugh’s - who portrayed the British Prime Minister in the film - body dancing to The Pointer Sister's song Jump.

The video even features Dr Ashley Bloomfield watching the PM bust a move before she gets caught.

At least now we know how Dr Bloomfield knows about Jacinda’s dance skills.

Commenters on the video - which has received more than 193K views thus far - praised the hilarious clip.

"Love it," one commenter wrote. "Great to see Ashley Bloomfield there too!"

"Hahahaha! That's awesome!" Another added.

"[Jacinda] is a better Prime minister than Hugh Grant," another person commented.

Love it!
