It turns out plant lovers will be able to buy house plants online during Alert Level 3

Need some new plant babies for your home? Well, you're in luck!

Under alert level 3 - which commences at 11.59pm on April 27 - garden centres and nurseries are open for business ... just not in person.

From next Tuesday, Kings Plant Barn, Bunnings and Mitre 10 stores will be closed to customers, but open for business online!

Shopping options range from online shopping, to click and collect and phone orders for those without internet access.

Local nurseries are also setting up email and phone ordering systems, and Trade Me will resume the buying and selling on plants on their platform.

KINGS: All products available through online delivery, with only compost/large bags the exception.
