Kate Middleton reveals sweet tribute to George, Charlotte and Louis during recent appearance

Launching a new project that's close to her heart, Kate Middleton took to social media to share a video of her announcing the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

But for royal watchers, the real star of the show wasn't the Duchess of Cambridge herself, but her new gold necklace.

A lover of sentimental jewellery, the mother-of-three debuted a dainty gold necklace from Daniella Draper.

Upon closer inspection, the circular charm is engraved with a tiny 'G', 'C' and 'L' - a sweet nod to her three children Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three.

In addition to the initials, the 9-karat yellow gold necklace features three tiny diamonds, which the brand says are believed to "bring strength to its wearer, whilst symbolising light, commitment and purity."

The 39-year-old wore the meaningful piece with a puff-sleeve Ralph Lauren blouse.

So sweet!
