KFC has announced a world-first degustation restaurant

We never thought that 'fine-dining' and 'KFC' would be put together - we were wrong. 

KFC has anncounced a world-first degustation restaurant in Sydney - which includes an eleven course meal cooked up by professional chefs and a wine pairing!

KFC explain the inspiration behind the idea on their website - "If there’s something the last ten years of reality food TV has shown us, it’s that you can make incredible food with the right ingredients, a creative mind and a pair of tweezers. So we went out and bought a pair and teamed up with some of the country’s most creative culinary minds to bring you what we hope is the most hectic chicken-based meal of your life."

Eager Aussies are being encouraged to sign up to get on the waiting list for their chance to grab a spot and enjoy their set dinner menu service between 1st-3rd April. 

Cost per person is $75 AUD ($80 NZD), and reservations can be made for tables of 2 or 4 for either an early dinner at 4.45pm or a late one at 8:15pm.

All we want to know now is, will they be doing this in NZ?!

All proceeds from this will go to the KFC Youth Foundation.
