Macaulay Culkin has broken his silence on the late Michael Jackson in a new interview.

The Home Alone actor was just 10 years old when he befriended the late Thriller hitmaker - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in 2009 - and despite the singer later being accused of molestation by a number of young men, Macaulay insisted he never saw "anything" untoward and has no reason to lie.

He told America's Esquire magazine: "He never did anything to me. I never saw him do anything. And especially at this flashpoint in time, I'd have no reason to hold anything back.

"The guy has passed on. If anything - I'm not gonna say it would be stylish or anything like that, but right now is a good time to speak up. And if I had something to speak up about, I would totally do it. But no, I never saw anything."

And Macaulay, admitted even some of his fellow stars have quizzed him about the Bad singer following the release of the documentary Leaving Neverland, which shone a light on allegations made against the star by Wade Robson and James Safechuck.

He said: "Here's a good Michael Jackson story that doesn't involve Michael Jackson at all: I ran into James Franco on a plane. I'd bumped into him two or three times over the years. I give him a little nod as we're putting our bags overhead. Hey, how you doing? Good, how ya doing?

"And it was right after the Leaving Neverland documentary came out, and he goes, 'So, that documentary!' And that was all he said.

"I was like, 'Uh-huh.' Silence. So then he goes, 'So what do you think?' And I turned to him and I go, 'Do you wanna talk about your dead friend?' And he sheepishly went, 'No, I don't.'

"So I said, 'Cool, man, it was nice to see you.' "

Meanwhile, the 39-year-old revealed that he is trying for a baby with his partner Brenda Song.

Macaulay has been in a relationship with the Suite Life of Zack and Cody star since 2017, and has revealed they have been "practicing" the art of making a baby.

He confessed: "We practice a lot. We’re figuring it out, making the timing work. Because nothing turns you on more than when your lady comes into the room and says, 'Honey, I’m ovulating.'"

Macaulay - who is best known for starring in the Home Alone franchise as a child - is eager to have children soon, as he’s noticing his body is changing as he gets older and wants to start a family whilst he’s still young.

He added: "I got an ulcer or two I gotta deal with. I don’t poop like I used to. My body’s like, ‘Oh, is this what the beginnings of dying feel like?’"

The actor describes himself as a “homebody”, and Brenda, 31, agrees.

She said: “People don’t realise how incredibly kind and loyal and sweet and smart he is. Truly what makes Mack so special is that he is so unapologetically Mack. He knows who he is, and he’s 100 per cent okay with that. And that to me is an incredibly sexy quality. He’s worked really hard to be the person he is.”

Macaulay says he’s also a man of “simple pleasures”, and loves nothing more than taking a hot bath before spending time with his girlfriend.

Speaking in the interview for Esquire magazine, he said: “You know what I’m going to do after this? I’m gonna take care of my back - I’m gonna take a hot bath. I have a video queued up: the history of ‘Castlevania’, the Nintendo game. It’s fifty-five minutes long, and that’s the perfect bath-time amount of time. I’m gonna stretch my back out, kiss my animals, and go to sleep with my lady. I’m a man of really simple pleasures.”
