Meet the dog who can do more housework than a human

They're not called man's best friend for nothing.

But this dog wipes the floor with regular canines, showing off a skill set to rival the very best at Crufts.

A video, called 'This dog is better than you at EVERYTHING', was shared on The Dodo's Facebook page earlier in the month.

From sweeping the floor to doing the laundry, playing the piano and even indulging in a game of table tennis, the brief clip reveals Secret to be extremely talented. 

In one highlight, the Australian shepherd paints a canvas spread on an easel, using a paintbrush which he expertly balances in his mouth.

Since the video was uploaded to Facebook earlier in the month, it has proven to be a viral sensation.

With 8.2 million views and nearly 150,000 shares, people have been quick to laud the pup (and its owner) with praise.

"Whoever trained this fabulous dog needs to teach my husband and son," one person wrote.

"Those dogs are one of the smartest breeds there are," another commenter added.

Secret's celebrity status doesn't stop with this video, however.

The adorable canine has nearly 14,000 followers on Instagram, where his owner, Mary, shares countless photos and videos of Secret in action.

"Learning tricks and chasing balls since 12/31/14," his biography on the page reads.

The video shared on The Dodo shows an amalgamation of Secret's skills.

First the dog assists with the sweeping in the kitchen, before he paints, plays piano, mops the floor, gets rid of the rubbish and does the laundry.

The clever dog even helps to remove an unidentified person's coat. 

Man's best friend indeed.
