‘Miracle baby’ born without a nose is one of just 37 in the world

‘The rest of him is so cute, sometimes you don’t realize he doesn't have a nose,’ says mother Brandi McGlathery.

Eli Thompson has been born with a rare condition called complete congenital arhinia. The odds are 197 million to one which means there are only around 37 babies in the world with the condition. 

When the baby was born mother Brandi said, ‘I pulled back and said, ‘Something’s wrong!’ And the doctor said, ‘No, he’s perfectly fine.’ Then I shouted, ‘He doesn’t have a nose!'”’ 

Eli cannot smell and also won't be able to cry.
