Calling all single ladies: a Christchurch man is advertising for a woman to join him on a romantic dinner for two on Valentine's Day.

Stu Spencer is "taking a punt" and has already booked a table at Christchurch's Tequila Mockingbird.

Listed on Trade Me, he hopes the women of his dreams reads it and thinks "he looks ok, seems like a nice guy, bit of a fool for selling himself off for a dollar but anything is worth a crack!"

Questions have been pouring in for the listing with plenty of encouragement from the Trade Me community.

A Trade Me user writes, "You gorgeous man! How are you single?! All the very best Stu :)"

Another writes, "You keep this up I think the woman will end up paying for your dinner and drinks great idea! I might steal it and be the lady version."
