Netflix has just announced 'The Baby-Sitters Club' reboot series and it looks very cute

Time to relive your childhood with Netflix's new series!

That's right, the Baby-Sitters are back, with a whole new generation of girls!

Netflix's new reboot takes a modern twist on the teen classic that follows the adventures of Kristy Thomas, Mary-Ann Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer, and the mini-company they start.

Originally books, the Netflix show will give us a story of friendship, female empowerment, and entrepreneurship, as well as tackle some heavier subjects that teenagers face, including parental divorce and racism.

The main cast includes Sophie Grace (Kristy Thomas), Malia Baker (Mary Ann Spier), Momona Tamada (Claudia Kishi), Shay Rudolph (Stacey McGill), and Xochitl Gomez (Dawn Schafer).

As well as well-known actress Alicia Silverstone - known for starring in 90s movie Clueless - as Kristy's Mum!

So when will we actually get the show? Well, it's sooner than you think. The much-anticipated series will hit New Zealand screens on July 3, so we don't have much time to wait.
