Netflix unveils first look trailer for gender-swap remake of 90s movie 'She’s All That'

Remember the 1999 rom-com classic She’s All That?

Well, now Netflix is about to give it a 2021 reboot.

He’s All That is set to follow the story of the original 90s movie – which starred Rachael Leigh Cook as the nerdy artist Laney and Freddie Prinze Jr as popular jock Zack – but this time around the roles will be reversed.

Today the streaming service unveiled the very first look trailer for the movie and it looks pretty hilarious.

TikTok star-turned-actress Addison Rae is set to play Padgett Sawyer – inspired by Freddie Prinze Jr’s character – who accepts a bet to transform the high school dork – played by Cobra Kai’s Tanner Buchanan in this iteration – into the king of the prom.

What’s more, Rachael Leigh Cook and Matthew Lillard who also starred in She's All That will both be returning for the remake in new roles.

He’s All That - which is directed by Mean Girls director Mark Walters - will also star the likes of Madison Pettis, Peyton Meyer, Isabella Crovetti, Annie Jacob, and Myra Molloy.

The Netflix-made movie is set to hit the streaming service on August 27.
