Time sure flies when you're having a blast, as Prince William, 40, and Princess Kate, 41, reminded us with their playful anniversary snap.

The royal couple took to social media over the weekend to share a photo with a simple caption: "12 years" followed by a heart emoji. In the picture, they can be seen on bicycles, arms wrapped around each other, with William rocking his shades and Kate looking effortlessly cool with her sunglasses perched atop her head.

This fun-loving photo was taken by the talented photographer Matt Porteous last year in the picturesque Norfolk countryside. It's part of a series of playful pictures capturing the joyous moments of the royal family. Royal fans were treated to some of these images on Mother's Day and Christmas in 2022.

This laid-back anniversary snapshot is definitely a far cry from the nerves the couple must have felt 12 years ago at Westminster Abbey.

The Prince and Princess’ special anniversary landed just a week before the anticipated coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. It's set to take place at the same location where William and Kate exchanged their vows 12 years ago.

Interestingly, Prince Harry is reportedly still in the dark about a crucial coronation detail that could make or break his royal reputation. Page Six reports that despite Harry's persistent requests for seating arrangements at Westminster Abbey, he remains clueless about his allocated spot during the ceremony. Will he be front and center or stuck in the nosebleeds? Only time will tell.

With the royal anniversary and coronation happening back-to-back, it's a thrilling time for the royal family. We can't wait to see what surprises and joyous moments the future holds for this beloved and extraordinary family.
