Sad news for Lenny Kravitz fans as singer cancels first ever New Zealand concert

Unfortunate news for Lenny Kravitz fans, as the American Woman singer cancels his entire Australasian tour.

The tour would have been Lenny's first trip to New Zealand in a career spanning 40 years.

A statement from promoters TEG Live states:

"TEG Live regret to advise that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and Government restrictions, Lenny Kravitz’s Here to Love tour has been cancelled. We sincerely apologise to all those affected by the cancellation."

Lenny also had his own message for fans.

"I was really looking forward to seeing you all but we need everyone to stay safe, from the fans to my crew and band," Lenny said in the statement. "Due to COVID-19 and government restrictions, my upcoming tour dates are regretfully cancelled. I am hoping to be back soon. Let Love Rule."

All ticket holders will be notified via email by Ticketek (Australian dates) and Ticketmaster (Auckland date) and will receive a full refund (including ticket insurance premium and refundable ticket purchase, if relevant) and do not need to take any action.
