The message encouraged fans to get involved, reading: "R U a Spice Girls fan with the ability to sing and dance? R U a superfan, a collector, a music lover?" It then teased: "Thursday 10th September at 2 o’clock BST. No sheet music required. But you will need a vinyl or CD player."

No further details have been revealed, leaving fans guessing whether the countdown could be linked to a special anniversary project, a re-release, or even a reunion announcement. Earlier this year, Mel B hinted that something could be in the works, saying: “It’s our 30th anniversary, I do think we should be doing something. Whether that actually happens or not is another story, but we’re all talking about it because if not anything, just for our fans. They’ve been so loyal, and they’re just there all the time - even now 30 years on.”

Meanwhile, Emma Bunton also said she'd love for the group to celebrate the anniversary, telling Extra: “I think it would be lovely for us to do something.”
