Have mercy! The San Francisco home made famous by Full House has found a new owner—and it's none other than the show’s creator and producer, Jeff Franklin.
Franklin dished all to The Hollywood Reporter, saying that "the house came on the market and really, I just thought, I have to buy this house. I'm so sentimental about the house. It's great to have the house in our Full House family and be able to preserve it for the fans. … Seriously, I love owning this house."
He shelled out nearly $4 million for the property and he said that he plans to redo the interiors to match its sitcom heritage - making it appear as if the Tanner family really lives there. He wants to use it as a filming location and rent it out to the public in the future.
The Victorian house, located at 1709 Broderick Street, was built in 1883 and consists of three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, including a master suite with a fireplace and a walk-in closet. There’s also a family room that connects to a small library, and an eat-in kitchen with a wine refrigerator and a breakfast bar. The house went on the market in May for $4.15 million.
