Are you smarter than a six-year-old?

This tricky homework question has left many adults scratching their heads after being posted on Facebook by The Holderness Family.

It features a picture with some letters arranged in a pattern and asks children to use the key provided to find the missing letter.

So what is the answer?

The general consensus is that the answer to the question is: J=14

One user explains the solution to the complicated conundrum: " The answer is J=14. You take the value of the S, B, and G and add them to get 40. Then you subtract the values of B and P from 40. That leaves a difference of 14, which is letter J. It all has to do with getting children to think in complex ways."
