A lot of homes, particularly apartments in the city don't have washing macines anymore as they are too expensive or don't fit.

This means that people usually have to venture out to a laundromat or around to their mums house to wash their clothes.

A company called Yirego has invented a a new miniature washing machine called Drumi, which could be the answer to this problem!

Drumi is a foot powered machine and is able to clean three days worth of undergarments in just 5 minutes!

Each load uses about 5 liters of water and a minimal amount of soap. Apparently this is 80% less water than a traditional washing machine.

AND it costs a reasonable $169.
