Twelve days 'til Christmas Cocktails: Holiday Apple Pie Cocktail recipe

HOLIDAY APPLE PIE COCKTAIL

Makes two

INGREDIENTS

• 1 shot of vodka
• 1 shot of whisky
• Ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla paste, essence or extract
• 1 teaspoon of honey
• Approx 1 cup of Apple juice
• Ice
• Optional - apple for garnish

METHOD

1. Melt honey and stir in vanilla and a generous sprinkling of cinnamon. Add the vokda and whisky and stir well to combine.
2. Fill two short glasses with ice and divide the honey liquor mixture between the glasses. 
3. Top with apple juice and stir well to combine.
4. Optional - cut two thin slices from the centre of the apple, from side-to-side right through the core. Add a slice to the top of each cocktail.
5. Enjoy!
