Twitter Has A New Feature That Will Change Everything

Yesterday, Twitter announced some changes to it's direct messaging feature
You can now direct message someone regardless if they follow each other. Which is great for most people, but annoying if you're a celebrity.

Twitter have tested this in the past and have previously unlocked it for a small number of users but it has never unlocked the feature for the whole Twitterverse.

You can turn the feature on or off whenever you like

So, on mobile devices running Apple's iOS or Google's Android operating system, you will see a direct message button on profiles. 
Twitter said, it will make direct messaging faster and easier because people will be able to more simply communicate. 
The changes were rolled out worldwide yesterday.


And if you were wondering, yes, now you can Direct Message The Kardashians or Ed Sheeran… but only if they've turned the feature on
