What This Man Did For His Girlfriend Has Cost Him Thousands

Ayan Zhademov is a 20 year old from Kazakhstan, who rather romantically offered to sit his girlfriends exam, because she was too nervous.

The exam board knew something was wrong straight away.

"He tried speaking in a high voice but it was obvious then that he was a male" they said.

While this is kind of funny, because it was a plan quite obviously destined to fail, some of her fellow students find the gesture to be chivalrous.

Dariga Nesterova said: "It was stupid but very romantic. Sometimes love leads us to do silly things, I wish my boyfriend was this romantic."

A local businessman offered to pay half of the £1,400 fine after reading about the story, and the nervous girl will now have to wait until next year to take the exam.
