A waitress in Times Square was left with a touching 'Pay it forward' tip when she received a 7000% tip on a bill that was only $43.
The woman was recently served an eviction notice according to Good Morning America, and when a regular in the restaurant heard about it, left the waitress a $3000 tip.
Even better, the top was inspired by the tippers 8th grade (year 9) science teacher who began an organization called ReesSpechtLife following a personal tragedy.
"This woman had been serving us for almost a year now. She's a lovely individual, and she talked about how she was served an eviction notice last month," explained, the giver of the generous tip told ABC News. "I just had also been constantly thinking about for quite some time my teacher's project and this foundation, and I thought it was an appropriate time." Neither the person nor the restaurant wished to be identified.
