Wrongly-incarcerated singer leaves 'America's Got Talent' judges in tears with emotional performance

Singer Archie Williams spent 37 years behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit.

Thankfully, the wrongly-incarcerated man was eventually freed after new technology proved that he was innocent - and now he’s making on of his dreams come true.

Appearing on America’s Got Talent, Archie shared his heartbreaking story before performing an equally emotional rendition of Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me by George Michael and Elton John.

Needless to say, 59-year-old’s performance not only left the judges in tears but earned him a standing ovation from the audience.

"That was very powerful," judge Heidi Klum said, brushing away her tears after Archie’s audition.

"I will never forget this audition for the rest of my life," Simon Cowell said later on Twitter. "And I’ll never listen to this song in the same way ever again."

Neither will we!
