Dr Susan Mayo, a consultant dermatologist at London's Codogan Clinic has revealed a simple trick for making your legs silky smooth..
Use PEANUT BUTTER when shaving your legs!
"Peanut butter has a moisturising effect because it is oily," she told the Mail Online.
Anyone with nut allergies should steer clear, of course.
Dr Mayou added: "Even used just as a beauty product, it can be highly allergenic. It can bring the user out in hives and anyone using the same bathroom could be in danger of a contact rash."
It can also leave your bathroom in a bit of a state, as some testers of the new beauty craze discovered.
Blogger Maxime Builder wrote: "Application was, in a word, disgusting. It was so thick and difficult to spread that it would’ve taken the whole jar to coat just one of my legs.
"As I pulled the razor up my leg, I could see the peanut butter forming these weird globs, and after one swipe, the blades were coated, rendering the razor almost unusable for a second go-round."
Despite admitting the unconventional alternative left her with luscious legs, Maxine added: "Do not shave your legs with peanut butter.
