Your kids might start asking for 'Cookie Cereal' soon as it's the latest food trend to go viral

Recently through the social media app Tik Tok, pancake cereal rose to fame.

The idea was to make a lot of tiny pancakes (even smaller than pikelets) and create a bowl of the delicious breakfast food to cover with milk or your favourite syrup.   

But now the fame of pancake cereal seems to have inspired the new trend, cookie cereal ... and we really don’t know how to feel.  

Justin Schuble posted a video showing him baking tiny chocolate chip biscuits and filling a bowl up with milk and cookies and labelling it "cereal". 

We’re not sure if we’d let our kids pass a bowl of cookies off as "breakfast".

But it seems like it could be more of a delicious dessert dish ...
