Get ready to have your faith in humanity restored!
At 7.45am this morning, during peak traffic times, Auckland commuters heading into the city showed their softer sides after stopping to allow a mother duck and her ducklings to cross the motorway.
The New Zealand Transport Agency caught the heart-warming moment on one of its traffic cameras near the Tristram Ave onramp.
The video shows all three lanes coming to a halt to allow the feathery family to make their way across the busy Northern Motorway.
Following their big crossing, the NZTA said that police had escorted the family to safety.
