Because this kindergarten class from Tennessee just put together a very special birthday surprise for their school janitor - and his reaction will make you say "awwwww"!

The kids, from Hickerson Elementary School, surprised Mr. James Anthony by singing an unforgettable rendition of 'Happy Birthday' as he entered their classroom on his 60th birthday.

So what was so unforgettable?

Since Mr. Anthony is deaf, the children sang the traditional song in sign language!

As Mr. Anthony has worked at the school for 15 years, teachers Allyssa Hartsfield and Amy Hershman wanted to do something special to show their appreciation.

"His reaction was ecstatic," Hartsfield said.

"He cried, and of course we got emotional with him. After it was over, he said, 'This is the best birthday present you could've given me.'"

"They really love him," Hershman added. "The kids were super excited — they learned that song in probably five minutes."
