A 76-year-old fell in her kitchen, bruising her head and breaking her shoulder. She lives by herself and has parkinsons so couldn't get herself up or ask for help. She lay on the floor drifting in and out of consciousness for two days.

Her two dogs stayed with her, keeping her comfortable and warm. According to the woman, the main thing they did for her was let her know that she wasn't alone.

A friend who had a spare key to her house eventually found the woman and got her the help she needed.
