Heartwarming Video Emerges of 79-yr-old Alzheimers Sufferer Singing In The Car With Son

This Father and Son duo may be giving James Corden a run for his money with their very own "Carpool Karaoke".

Ted McDermott was filmed singing his heart out as his son drove him around in his car in Blackburn.

The adorable clip of Ted and his son Simon singing Quando Quando Quando has since gone viral with thousands of views.

Mr McDermott, who used to work as a Butlin's Redcoat, earned the nickname The Songaminute Man - because of the many tracks he knows off by heart.

The 79-year-old was diagnosed with dementia in 2013 following a long career as an entertainer, performing for the public in pubs and clubs.

His video - along with a few others - has helped raise more than £30,000 for the Alzheimer's Society after his son set up a Just Giving fundraising page.
