It turns out Jason Derulo has a hidden talent!

At the MTV Europe Music Awards last week, the hip-hop singer surprised fans as he took to the stage and started singing Andrea Bocelli's opera classic, 'Time To Say Goodbye'.

Of course, it was actually just a special intro for his performance with Nicki Minaj and David Guetta, who later joined him on stage to sing their new dance track, 'Goodbye'.

But he still left the audience speechless.

Following the performance, Jason took to Facebook to inform sceptical fans that he was actually trained classically.

"Last night was such a moment. I showed you a side of me that’s been burning within for a long time. I was trained classically (operatically) and have sang classical music since I can remember. My mom has wanted me to show this side for a long time so she cried happy tears last night. Love you momma! The reception has been amazing! Should I do a classical project one day?" he wrote.

Some of the biggest stars of the music industry, including Camila Cabello, Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson and Dua Lipa, showed up at the annual awards, which were hosted by Hailee Steinfeld.
