One dad has come under major fire for his "reckless" and "crazy" behaviour after a video of him bungy jumping while holding his two-year-old daughter was posted online.

The heart-stopping video - which was shot in western Malaysia - shows Mohd Redha Rozlan harnessed to bungee gear while holding his little girl Mecca on top of a 60 metre high bridge.

Rozlan can be seen jumping backwards with his daughter, before swinging dozens of metres over the rock-filled river gorge in Kuala Kuba Bharu.

The video has since been shared more than 3,500 time and received over 300,000 views, sparking a ton of furious responses from social media users accusing him of endangering his daughter's life.

But Rozlan has clapped back at the criticism saying his daughter had asked to be apart of it.

"Chill guys, Mecca was the one who wanted to do the jump with me, there was no forcing. She enjoyed her first jump and requested to do it again but I was afraid," he wrote.

Apparently, the young girl was, in fact, wearing a full safety harness but it was 'hard to see' in the video.

The bungy company has also commented saying they made sure all safety requirements were followed.
