'The Chase' viewers were left stunned by the 'worst ever answer' on the show

Against the clock and under the pressure, game show contestants' brains often turn to mush.

So spare a thought for The Chase contestant Jack, who was so frazzled on camera that he forgot his own existence.

When asked by host Bradley Walsh "what is the only planet in the universe known to support life?", Jack forgot where he was and replied - with the level of self-assurance of a man who knows he has the answer in the bag -  "Mars".

Yes Mars.
