Watch Seth Meyers Explain His Uber Trip With His Wife Who Was In Labour

The only thing Meyers was concerned about when his wife was screaming "I DON'T LIKE THIS!" out of the Uber window, was his diminishing Uber rating.

Okay, we're sure his mind was definitely on other things, but Seth Meyers provided his Late Night audiences with the charming New York City tale of his son’s arrival on Sunday - and it's pretty hilarious.

Meyers' wife Alexi Ashe, went into labor two weeks early following brunch on Easter. He installed a contractions app on his phone before loading into the backseat of an Uber where his wife was on her knees and screaming out of the window.

“My only regret is that you can’t give an Uber driver six stars because you deserved it,” said Meyers in a heartfelt message to Tariq, their Uber driver. “I also wanna say I regret that we used my Uber app instead of my wife’s because I’m pretty sure that Tariq gave us the one star, and that goes on my record!”

Meyers revealed that they named their son Ashe Olson Meyers, which is a combination of his wife’s maiden name and his mum's name.
