Wearing only jeans and a t-shirt this girl wanted to show the world what she experiences when she walks around the streets of New York. She shot over 10 hours of footage and this video is the result.
This young lady, who is dressed appropriately (not that it really matters), was hired by an organisation called 'Hollaback' to film what happens to women when they walk alone in the street.
This video was to show that street harassment is still 100% happening and it needs to stop. What is 'Hollaback':
"Hollaback is a movement to end street harassment powered by a network of local activists around the world. We work together to better understand street harassment, to ignite public conversations, and to develop innovative strategies to ensure equal access to public spaces."
What is street harassment?
The real motive of street harassment is intimidation. To make its target scared or uncomfortable, and to make the harasser feel powerful.
