The Hits is proud to partner with one of Aotearoa's most iconic events for tamariki, the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon™!  
 
Since 1992, more than half a million Kiwi kids have taken on the challenge, and now it's your child's turn to give it a TRY!  
 
The 2026/27 Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon™ Series is now open for entries. Whether your kid is a budding sports star or simply keen to get out there and have some fun, the TRYathlon is all about giving it a go, building confidence, and celebrating every child's personal best.  
 
Open to all Kiwi kids aged 6 to 15 years, the event features age-appropriate courses designed for all fitness levels. Kids can register as an individual or team up with a friend in a team of two.  
 
From swimming to biking to running, every TRYathlete will feel like a champion as they cross the finish line and receive their very own Champions medal, presented by Kiwi sporting heroes. How cool is that!
