and yes, Adam is jumping on a scooter and joining you for the ride,in one of the most iconic (and slightly torturous) charity missions in the country.

The Grand Annual Jolly Good Chaps Napier to Wellington 50cc Scooter Charity Challenge sees brave participants take on the ultimate endurance test: riding a 50cc scooter all the way from the Mitre 10 Mega carpark in Napier to the Wellington Waterfront. It’s slow… it’s hilarious… it’s heroic… and it’s all for a seriously good cause.

This challenge is all about raising as much money as possible for local Hawke’s Bay charities, with 100% of funds raised staying right here in our community. And to sweeten the deal, there are some incredible prizes up for grabs for the top fundraisers.

Last year, our riders smashed expectations and raised $187,600 and in 2026, we’re aiming even higher. The goal? Break $200,000 and make a real difference for Hawke’s Bay.
