2025 Rockshop Bandquest

Rockshop Bandquest is Aotearoa’s nationwide live music competition for primary and intermediate school bands, now celebrating its fifteenth year.

Presented by The Wright Family Foundation and powered by Rockshop, this exciting event gives young musicians a platform to perform live and develop their talent.

Rockshop Bandquest showcases bands of three to ten members (up to Year 8), performing one or two songs. While there’s a prize for the best original song to inspire creativity, the heart of the competition is all about performance and growing musical confidence.
