KidsCanBall 2025 - Bigger, Better, Bouncier!

This October, The Hits are teaming up with KidsCan once again to bring you KidsCanBall and this year we are going even bigger...At the biggest place we could find, EDEN PARK.  

Last year, our handball heroes Jono, Ben & Megan and Jordan Watson (How to Dad) took to the court for a wild 24-hour handball-a-thon, and with the help from you raised over $474,000 to help Kiwi Kids living in hardship.  

30th - 31st October Eden Park, Auckland

Now, we’re back and aiming to raise $1million to support 10,000 children with food, warm jackets and shoes so they can thrive at school.  

This year we are making KidsCanBall a nationwide handball challenge (yes, four square counts) where schools, workplaces, and communities play as much handball as they can throughout October – all to raise funds for KidsCan. Whether you’re clocking minutes on the court or cheering from the sidelines, every bounce counts.  

How To Get Involved? 

  1. Sign up at kidscanball.org.nz 
  2. Play handball throughout October at school, work or with mates 
  3. Fundraise by sharing your profile and asking for donations
  4. Follow along with us as Jono, Ben, Megan and Jordan gear up to play handball for 24 hours. 
  5. Feel amazing knowing you’re helping Kiwi Kids get the essentials they need

Too many children in Aotearoa arrive at school hungry, cold and without the essentials. KidsCanBall is about levelling the playing field-literally- so every child can focus on learning.
