The Hits Costume Cup at Lugtons Round The Bridges 2026

Your race-day costume deserves a trophy!

The Hits Waikato is giving your race-day outfit the recognition it deserves with The Hits Costume Cup at Lugtons Round the Bridges 2026 on Sunday 15 November!

Whether you’re dusting off the tutu, squeezing into a superhero suit or creating something nobody’s seen before, your costume could earn you some serious bragging rights.

How to get involved

Wear a costume in your chosen event at Lugtons Round the Bridges on Sunday 15 November 2026, and you’ll automatically be in the running for The Hits Costume Cup.

Blair and The Hits team will be on costume watch throughout race day, choosing finalists to go head to head in a public vote.

You choose the champion!

We’ll reveal our finalists on The Hits Waikato Facebook page after the event. Then it’s over to you to vote for your favourite and help crown the winner for The Hits Costume Cup!

See you on race day!

Blair will be on the mic at the finish line, and The Hits street team will be bringing the cheers, music and lollies on Grantham Street.

So get your costume sorted, bring your supporters and give us something to cheer about!
